“Rule one: Keep your hands clean.
Rule two: Careful with the food trays.
Rule three: Visit the soda fountain as often as you like, but don’t make yourself sick.
Rule four: Enjoy the poodle skirt.
“Canary is excited to spend a whole week helping her newlywed aunt and uncle run a 50’s diner along with her older siblings Rose and Michael. Even the rules for working there are fun!
“But when a routine cleanup presents a mysterious, hand-drawn map, her vacation gets even more exciting than a banana split with hot fudge sauce. And that’s saying a lot!

My Review:
This was an adorable little short story about three siblings that work in their aunt and uncle’s diner for a week. The little mystery is interesting and adds to the story quite a bit- the book wouldn’t be the same without it. 🙂 I love Kate’s writing style and all of the little details that she adds!
The only thing that some people may have a problem with are the mentions of a jukebox and dance steps.
**I recieved a copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.**
I haven’t read this one yet, but I want to!
I believe you can read it for free… you’d have to ask Kate for sure, though, because I can’t remember. 🙂
Really? Cool, I’ll ask her. 😊
Ohhh I see. Thank you!
Hm…Great review but I cannot see any of the images – instead I see this big picture that says something about third party and photobucket.
Hmm… That’s interesting. I wonder why? I’ll check into it. 🙂 Thanks for letting me know!
Thanks!
Were you reading in it your reader or on my blog? Because I can see everything fine on my blog…
I was reading it on your blog.
Okay, Enni, I think I figured it out. The pictures that you couldn’t see were just stars; I gave this book a five star rating. 🙂 I guess I have to find some other stars to put in my posts! I’ll look into that. 🙂
I loved this story! It was super fun. Great review!
Thanks! 🙂
