Hello, everyone! I’m just putting this quick request out there for movie recommendations. I’m looking for a family-friendly Christian movie that both kids and adults would enjoy. (Although if children can’t understand it all, that’s all right.) Do any of you have any suggestions? Thanks in advance!
P.S. I’m taking a media break for the next week, but I’ll reply as soon as I can! I’ll talk to you all later! 🙂
“Runner from Ravenshead” and “The Defense of New Haven” are two of my favorite kids films!
Ooh, yes; I really like those too! 😀
Christmas-themed:
Christmas Oranges
Christmas for a Dollar
The Star
Jonathan Toomey Movie
Overcomer is my favorite family-friendly Christian movie.
Thanks for taking the time to comment, Anna! Overcomer sounds like a good movie.
Oh! This is a fun question! Yes, it can be hard to find good quality Christian films. Here are my recommendations (and hopefully some of these will be ones you haven’t already watched!): Widow’s Might, Ace Wonder, Heartstrings, Valley of the Shadow, Time Changer, Kendrick brother films, Sybil Ludington, Indescribable (I really like this one!), Polycarp, Alone Yet Not Alone (I really like this one too, but it might be scary for young children). And that’s all for now, but if I think of any others, I’ll let you know! 😉
Wow, thanks for all your suggestions! I’ve watched Polycarp, Time Changer, Indescribable, and some of the Kendrick Brothers films, and I’ve read Alone Yet Not Alone but not watched the movie. I really like Indescribable too! I looked up some of the other ones and they look good. I’m going to have to keep your list in mind. I appreciate your comment!
The Christmas Miracle of Jonathan Toomey is a favourite! I don’t remember there being any need to skip anything in it, and no romance 🙂 “A Young Pioneer Christmas” is really good, too.
The Christmas Candle is good too!
The Nativity story is amazing!! And Cristmas Oranges!
If you get any responses, I would love to see them, if you’d be okay to share, because I’m looking for some too.
Okay! I’ve approved the comments, so you’re free to read them. 🙂
One I can highly recommend is “When Silence Speaks.” It was such a good movie from what I can recall. It was about a Deaf person learning about God and such. I feel like there may be a few scary parts here or there. It’s been a while.

Hopefully this will give you a good enough idea of what to expect:

Hey Chloe! Thanks for the suggestion; that one sounds very interesting! I’d like to watch it sometime.
